At the Sea Road Gate

As we meet, at the sea Road Gate, the sun filters down through the trees.
The limestone pillars standing like guards to the path, a breath of warm summer breeze.

Rustling leaves sing their soft song, gentle hues of green and yellow abounding.
Their shadows dancing upon the path, and from the garden instruments of our song sounding,

Here is a place where peace holds sway.
At the Sea Road Gate I saw your sweet gentle face today.

You twirled and laughed, walking in quiet joy.
At the Sea Road Gate, I seee you play with happiness like a bright hued toy.

As the stones wind along the edge of the path, so do we follow.
If such should ever come, the Sea Road Gate, without you would be hollow.

I smile inside, for I know the sound of the waves.
At the Sea Road Gate, it is our love which saves.

Our picnic lunch we share, on the bench at Sea Road Gate, beneath grand oak trees.
The sights an sounds of you, so happy, so beautiful, weakness in my knees.

How I wish forever lived, at the Sea Road gate.
I think I'll drink up every drop of these moments, before our hours are late.

Walk with me love in the myriad shadows and sunshine dancing with us, down to Sea Road Gate.
Let us drink up the warm cup of our special moment, savoring every draught like a man dying of thirst.

The magic of Sea Road Gate is forever.
