Long Years......
Long years spent wandering alone, in the dark, praying for a light, for
warmth, for a place in the sun. Is it you? Is it you?
Watching romantic movies, cold and alone in my little shell
of a world, nothing standing beside me, no warmth, no lover,
no best friend, wishing with all my heart to find that special
one that has been missing so long. Is it you? Is it you?
I see the sun shining down, all around the cold edges of a
dark cloud that hovers over me, lighting the faces of others,
but never mine, in all these years. The cloud parts and shows
me a light of hope. Is it you? Is it you?
There has been something that is everything missing in my
world as long as I've known....Is it you? Is it you?
I pray with every scrap of my soul it is, Sweet Darling.....
