Daring To Know

When I remember you, and remember that I dared to know you,
I am still sweetly inspired.
When I know inside myself, how strongly I can hurt,
I dare to know desire.
Dangerous of heart, though you may be,
Like the moth at knight, I am sweetly fired.
Though I shall live in a world of rain, still I could not surrender for any pain,
I am healed in memory.
Bringing to mind your sweet face, lights up the sun, inside,
because I dared to know you.
Torment me, yes sweetly, oh lovely torture.
I walked willingly into the flames.
For your bold heart, I put away all shame.
Remembrance that is burning bright, long, oh long into the night,
because I dared to know tenderness inside.
Sweet moments stolen from all time, a beautiful dream that you were mine,
because I could not leave this fire to go.
Yes, now matter how, the river of tears shall flow,
I would always and forever, choose to dare to know,
the love of you.

I shall not regret the daring.

Some parts of life have a life all their own, even hough brief and fleeting. I can still remember a
young walk in the sunshine, the end of summer, and remembrances like the finest of goblets.
How it sparkles and shines.
