Murals In The House Of God:

Like a picture painted in the finest colors,
Vistas of surreal beauty awaiting only eyes to see,
Nature hides them everywhere,
In the loneliness we imagine an "empty" field to be,
Or hidden 'neath the waters of a rushing creek,
Dancing on branches unseen in the forest,
A flower awaiting in it's spring bud,
In the darkness of an undiscovered cave,
In the farthest unknown reaches of the vast universe,
And in the waiting beat of a heart full of longing to love,
God paints masterpieces and we only slowly open our eyes.

Author's Comments

How many are the beautiful things that we never expect,
but should we take the time in noticing fine detail,
our breath would often be stolen away.
