Friendship
Do you know how good it feels -
Just to spend this time with you.
You're the only one who really knows.
Just what I'm going through.
When I needed a good friend -
You were always there.
You never failed to let me know -
Just how much you cared.
So when you ever need a friend -
Be sure to call on me.
I will be there for you.
Just like you were for me.
To have a friend - is a true gift.
I'm so glad that you are mine.
A friend like you - we all should have.
You are loving, true and kind.
A true friend is always there.
No matter what you do.
I'm so very thankful -
To have a friend like you.
So my friend - I thank you.
For being there for me.
You have my love and respect -
From now till eternity.

Ann, this is so right, so well said. To make a commitment to friendship should
carry this attitude forward. there are those in life I would say this to,
and I think you've said it for us all.

| I adore this poem. I have sort for this type of friendship all of my life and have found parts of it in a variety of people, rather than just one. I hope as well that I can be to my friends what you have described in this uplifting poem. Well done in winning. |
