Angel of The Rainbow

Angel of so many forms . . . so many colors, hues
All those of the rainbow . . . and all within, beyond
Alight, surround, envelop . . . make dizzy all the senses
A smile, a tear, a thought, and hope . . . which otherwise were hidden

Unexpected entrances . . . the warmth the Angel brings
She found an open channel . . . My heart He opened free
The Angel alights . . . changes aura of others near
Not only for I, the Angel's embrace . . . for others I hold dear

Recognize the Angel . . . color, light, and smile
Pass on rainbows' colors . . . and watch the Angel fly
Music soars upon Her wings . . . and on His wings am I
With new hope that the Angel . . . will lead the harmony

For Love has sent the Angel . . . colors broader still
Breadth we cannot fathom . . . meditation centers in
Silent, still, waiting . . . the Angel again appears
Loving is easy, giving too . . . the invisible, tangible, true

Laughter, love, and fire . . . the Angels play the tune
Perhaps we all hear different . . . through the Angel's whistling wind
Yet the Angel draws us closer . . . clarity, truth and Love
The Angel here has landed . . . and we, allowed to feel

Words come to my mind . . . when other times had hid
Love comes to my heart . . . and I freely then can give
Strength comes to my soul . . . where fear once had been
Immersed in music now . . . to fill the deaf one's ear

Colors of the rainbow . . . the Angel knows no end

Author's Comments

I wrote this because I have noticed so many poems here with an Angel theme, which reminds me that Angels come in so many forms and mean so many different things to different people. Here in this poem, I tried to capture some of the many different ways Angels have touched my life, especially recently. I feel like the poem could continue endlessly.

A very diverse and thoroughly enjoyable poem. You are quite right, it could go on.

Mariposa,

You are quite right -- Angels do take many forms, and you have created one of them quite eloquently and beautifully!
