Whirligig Way:
Ever pick up a bicycle tire as a child,
Spin it on it's axle really hard,
Then try to move it around,
Yeah there's a force there that stills it,
Interestingly enough,
Modern wind generators go against the grain,
Of that simple wisdom,
But if the mill were just to change direction of spin,
If it's center of spin were up and down,
The wind could come from any direction,
And it wouldn't really matter much,
But see the folks that tried this,
Did some weird egg beater thing,
With long slinky tall blades,
Now isn't that silly,
The wind is too playful for that,
Oh no it comes at different speeds,
Depending on how tall you are,
Because it's really tons of tiny Zephyr's,
All added up to the grand play we see,
Hear, feel, wish upon, wish to harness,
So these tall egg beaters were torn apart,
In the playful Zephyr Army's tug of war,
But funny if a stack of bunches,
Of short spinning wheels,
Were all stuck on a tower together,
Every Zephyr would have it's own toy,
And when one toy wore out,
The rest of the Zephyrs could still play,
While the broken toy was exchanged,
Yeah the Zephyrs would all be happy,
With all their spinning wheels,
For what creature or spirit,
Doesn't love making it's own lightning?

I've spent many hours reflecting on
wind turbine designs, and it seems
no one tried anything like this.
At least that I've heard of.
Funny how a bunch of smaller things,
Can add up to a great big effect,
Like ants, or breezes, or ....windmills?
