Mama, I Want To Dance On The Moon:

Little sixties boy,
Watching Kennedy's brand new toy,
Black and white what a site,
Goodness Apollo rules!

It's a Captain Marvel world,
Mom,
I think I'm going to fly,
Mom!

Worked so hard to learn how,
But same thing then as now,
No one knew quite what to do,
With little bright eyed Johnny Blue.

Talking about the flashes just flew,
Right on over,
Right on over,
So conversations became dread.

Isn't that quite right, dear Rover?

The ideas came and the ideas went,
Forgot more gifts than the government gets,
After awhile the excersizes got too bound up,
A constipated idea bank sure enough.

Then along came the Net,
And a sweet Muse I met,
So now I surrender rocketry to poets,
So someday they will get,

To fly.

A few know exactly whereof I speak.
It's the same old story, played out in dreamland
just a bit too long, all the sheep got tired of
waiting, so not much in the way of sheepskins,
and the tribal elders aren't interested in the first word,
unless you collected a stack, Mr. Telecomm Blue Collar.

What?

Yeah, exactly. The whole point is most of the kind of ideas I often have and things that I find interesting and way cool go right over the average head. And without a bunch of degrees most people just write you and your ideas off as a waste of time sight unseen. Been that way since I was little, but I'm still working on it. aybe better communication skills.

Dan,

Maybe because you are an Aquarian and as Aquarians we just see the world differently and they see us differently? You said it had been this way since you were a child....... same here. Not sure when I finally decided to stop fighting it and stop working so hard to fit in.... One day I just decided I might as well celebrate that I am just different from most and use it to my advantage. It does feel like "home" when I cross paths with another Aquarian :)

Purrs,
Kat
