Dream Lover of Mine

Dream Lover of Mine- by Christianne Charles copyright 2002 all rights reserved

Dream Lover of Mine
It is you that I go to
In the depths of the moonlight
I put on my nightgown
After I have bathed
I neatly comb my hair
I am getting ready for you
As I pull the blankets up
Around my head
And place the pillow in my arms
For a gentle hug
Soon I will be leaving for the land of dreams
Deep in sleep
We will meet once again
In the depths of the moonlight
Dream lover of mine

This poem came to me one night as I lay in bed. I thought of how everyone dreams of meeting that special one- hence the title "Dream Lover of Mine." Hopefully, that dream person or special one can be found.

Christianne,

This is a very wonderful, romantic poem. I enjoyed it very much.

I would also encourage you, continue seeking that special someone, do not give up, do not loose hope, and never give up trying.
