Blue Earth, White Rosette:
Just a place to see,
Little itty bitty speck in the dark,
But go dream a little,
Fly on up and look down,
All that ocean blue so pretty,
White Rosettes of cloud vapor,
And where else can you find such a spectacle?
Every other place we know is,
Violent pretty deadly,
Drop the speck of something living,
On any other rock,
Any,
Death is the result today.
Rings and coffee swirls and red spots,
Sure is glorious up there in the night or,
Down here in the pictures,
On computer screens,
In your brains,
But unless we change it,
Live there?
Hundreds of years or hard suits,
Some places just no way ever,
But hey, you tell me anywhere,
Anywhere at all,
That can hold a candle to Blue Earth,
That can craft a petal like White Rosette.
So what are we about?
One rock and boom,
It's bye-bye,
Sweet Blue Earth,
Washed up White Rosettes,
But guess what?
Guess what, guess what!?!
Blue Earth grew some children,
Almost past childhood,
And said in a white rose whisper,
"Take me with you.....let's live forever."
And the angels whispered in our dreams,
Right in Johnny F. K's ear,
Painted it in Isaac's word garden,
Danced around Arthur C's pen,
Gave Robert H. a strange land vision,
Told us what to do,
Be fruitful - and fly.
And the little bubbles of Blue Earth floated,
Floated in the black velvet jewel sea,
Found new places for White Rosettes to be,
Growing.

Funny how complacency is so easy,
while the cradle is just gently rocking,
and nothing but our baby fists disturbs it.
But there's monsters out there - big dumb rock
monsters that don't even feel. They just keep moving.
Roll them dice, gimme a seven!!!!
