Our Mystic Moon

Our Mystic Moon

The mystic moon shines above.
It shines on you and me.
Though we are not together tonight.
Yet in my heart - I see.

The nights we sat together.
Underneath that moon above.
Still, every time I see it.
I think of you, my love.

I remember the nights together.
You holding me in your arms.
I can still feel your heart beat against me.
Sheltering me from all harm.

I felt so safe in your arms.
You were my shining knight.
Protecting me with your love.
On those beautiful full moon nights.
